Our district currently provides English as a Second Language (ESL)
services to approximately 175 students from 14 different languages.
Students in grade PreK-12, identified through the W-APT/MODEL screener,
as Limited English Proficient are provided with a sheltered English and
ESL program model. The delivery model is push-in or pull-out involving
small groups or one-on-one instruction based on a variety of factors
including: proficiency levels, levels of academic and emotional
development, age, group dynamics, and home language.
