Reimbursements will only be made to families that opted for the Transportation Reimbursement during the registration process AND have a child(ren) eligible for busing in Galesburg CUSD #205.

Families with multiple students in the same building are only eligible to claim 1 child per building for transportation reimbursement.

Employees with children in a building they are assigned to work in are not eligible for transportation reimbursement.  In certain circumstances, spouses may be eligible.  

Parent Transportation Reimbursement Affidavit claims will be verified against the child(ren)'s official Skyward attendance records each month.

The Parent Transportation Reimbursement Affidavit is due no later than the 5th day of the proceeding month.  Prior months affidavits will not be made available after this date. Example: The August Parent Transportation Reimbursement Affidavit must be electronically submitted no later than September 5, 2024.

Submitted  Parent Transportation Reimbursement Affidavits that claim more days than the student attended in a calendar month will not be submitted for payment.

All payments will be made at the end of the school year after approval at the June Board of Education meeting.
