Before the students at Steele Elementary left for Spring Break, they were told that if they made it through April with less than 50 office referrals they would be able to turn their principal, Mrs. Coate into an "ice cream sundae".
Steele students succeeded and had under 50 referrals during the entire month of April so that meant it was time to have some fun with ice cream toppings at Steele.
According to Mrs. Coate, students also had to demonstrate positive behaviors, which included being safe, kind, and helpful.
The students all enjoyed taking sprinkles, marshmallows, chocolate syrup and whip cream and "decorating" their principal who with a cherry on top, also enjoyed the celebration.
