Victor J. Glover is the first African American astronaut to live on the International Space Station for an extended stay.
What caught our attention was an article where Glover credited his fifth grade science teacher for giving him the inspiration to pursue STEM, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) which eventually led him to his future career.
Teachers make an impact on so many lives each day. We are thankful for all the CUSD #205 teachers who provide the supports to students to help them achieve their dreams.
