Reminder!
THANK YOU to D-Bones BBQ and John Hawkinson, State Farm Insurance Agent, for feeding the staff of District 205 this week. During such a difficult time, your generosity is appreciated!
Thank you to the Galesburg NAACP branch for their recent and most generous donation of additional school supplies for CUSD #205 students! Within the school supply bags provided by the NAACP there is a computer mouse, set of headphones, disposable face masks and a bottle of hand sanitizer. Beginning on Tuesday, October 13 the supply bags will be available to those who are in need of these supplies at the scheduled food distribution sites across the district. If you are in need of these supplies, please feel free to pick up a supply bag at one of these locations. We are thankful for our continued partnership with the NAACP and their continued willingness to help our students!
The Galesburg CUSD #205 Board of Education has directed the District to phase back groups of students to an in person learning environment. After a lengthy fact-finding discussion, the District elected to focus first on those students at the earliest stages of language acquisition. The students who are designated to be brought back to an in person learning environment will be contacted on an individual basis.
Please note, your student will continue to use E-Learning until the District contacts you directly.
If you currently have childcare, please continue to utilize those services.
The services offered by SEL on Wheels are available to any CUSD #205 student. Check the schedule to see where the van will be this week! Click the link to learn more about SEL on Wheels. #SELin205
