Dear Bright Futures Families,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! The Bright Futures staff is looking forward to meeting you and working with your child. We have a different calendar than the K-12 schools so please refer to the Bright Futures website for this information. Our first day of student attendance is Tuesday, September 20, 2019.

All NEW students to Bright Futures need a certified (obtained at court house) birth certificate and a current physical (dated within 1 year of school start). Please reference the Bright Futures website for comments from our school nurse, Courtney Knuth, for physical information. Students who do not have a current physical or appointment confirmation and birth certificate on file will not be able to start school until these documents are provided to by Bright Futures.

Classroom teachers will be calling parents/guardians to set up welcome visits beginning on Wednesday, August 15. These visits will take place on Thursday, August 15; Friday, August 16; and Monday, August 19. All parents must attend a welcome visit.

Bus routes dictate if your child is placed in Additionally, I do not change classrooms once a student is assigned to a class.
