The 2023 GHS "Lucky 5" artists attended their unboxing event on Wednesday at the Blick retail store. Five lucky students were selected by GHS art teachers due to their incredible talent and drive to create works of art.
Each student was gifted $400 of art supplies of their choice through the Galesburg Community Foundation's Joy Fund. Their work will be on display in a gallery for the National Arts in Education Week Show at the Galesburg Community Art Center in September 2023.
