Winter 2024-2025 Progress Update

Galesburg CUSD #205 launched the strategic planning process during the early fall of 2023 with broad community input. Input was solicited from across the community about the future of the District. School board members, parents, employees, students, and community members were given the opportunity to participate in interviews, focus groups, and/or an online survey.

All of the data collected through interviews, focus groups, and the survey, along with the district's mission statement, visions statement, and guiding principles were analyzed to determine findings, goals, and objectives for the District.

The District partnered with Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates (HYA), to conduct the strategic planning process. The result is the Strategic Plan Report that will guide the District's goals and improvement efforts over the next five years.

An updated Mission Statement and Vision Statement, both adopted by the Board as part of the strategic planning process, are included.
