The weather has been warming up and it was the perfect time for our little learners to get outside and explore!  They had a fun-filled day of splashing, playing and learning!

It might surprise you that playing with, and in, the water not only keeps your child feeling cool and having fun, but water play has so many amazing benefits for childhood development!

Water play develops hand-eye coordination. As children learn to pour, squeeze, stir and paint with water they are developing their eye hand coordination.

Water play builds social and communication skills.  When water play becomes a group activity, it encourages children to engage in social and cooperative play.

Engaging in risky play helps little learners build confidence, adapt and regulate their emotions.

Children who take safe risks learn that they can manage their fear, overcome it, and come out the other side.
